Our mission is to explore regenerative projects that improve social, economic and environmental wellbeing within our rural communities. We aim to build our resilience to climate change and other challenges by localising our economy, strengthening our social networks, and learning about our local environment. We promote local economic activities that move us beyond resource extraction and export, while maintaining and deepening the strong relationship between local people and our surrounding environment. Our activities aim to harness our greatest local asset – community spirit and cooperation – and are grounded in a deep connection to our place. Our projects encourage community participatory decision making and return benefits directly to our local communities.
